If you are an avid Google user, it is likely that Google has a lot of information about your activity online. Google uses this information to provide you more useful services across their services. However, what if you want to see all this saved information and clear some or all of it?
Here is how you can do it. Google provides a single page view of all this activity.
The page is named “My Activity”. You can access the page here: https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity
Note: You will notice that at present this page shows me 2061 instead of 20165!
What are the details available on this page? My Activity page provides details about all the Google products that you use:
You can filter by product and view or delete usage history. For example, if you are looking for a way to delete your Google image search, choose just that and delete the history.
Deleting Your Google Account Activity Details
You can delete details for a selected period, or by product. Go to this page to do that: https://myactivity.google.com/delete-activity
Stop Google From Saving Your Activity History
Now that you have seen what Google has stored, and probably deleted some of that information, here is how to stop this information from being captured in future.
Remember that disabling things here will affect the Google services that you use. For example disabling voice recording might remove the “OK Google” feature from your phone.
To stop Google from storing information about your activity through different services, click Activity Controls from the left pane. You will see sliding switches for each Google service, to turn it on or off.
