Many of you switched to the Google Keyboard for Android, since it is the stock keyboard of Android. The app is likely to get more updates and features after its separation from the core Android operating system. But many users found something irritating on this keyboard, especially those who came from Swiftkey and the like.
The comma is misplaced. Here is how to get it back, just like your good old Swiftkey.
- Go to Settings > Language and Input
- Under Keyboard & Input Settings, touch the settings icon next to Android Keyboard. (or long press the space bar and select Android Keyboard settings)
- Under General, touch Voice input key
- Choose On symbols keyboard
Come back to your Android Keyboard and try again!
Bonus: If you disable next word prediction, it will be replaced with punctuation marks
